The Company
The Company is a leading distributor of scientific bench-top equipment, consumables, custom services, chemical and biological reagents for applications in life science, biotech and pharmaceutical research in Singapore and Malaysia.
Incorporated in Singapore as a Private Limited company in 2003. Today, it has a portfolio of over 50 brands. The Company has strong relationship with its key customers and partners built over years and holds exclusive distributorship for few products.
Key customers include reputable research institutes, healthcare organizations and medical schools. While the business is now focused on consumable products, the company is expanding its product range by adding more equipment products to its portfolio.

The Company owns an industrial building with a total floor area of approximately 4,800 sqf, which is being used for general office and warehousing purposes. Total headcount is 11 covering administrative, sales and marketing, logistics and technical support functions.

Valuation
The business is valued by an independent business valuer at S$6.1M (mid-point of the valuation range) on a controlling, non-marketable basis as at 31 July 2016. The valuation excludes the office premises and cash and cash equivalent.
